Our Story
How it all began
Franco’s Pasta began not just with a love for Italian food—but with a challenge.
We’re Pete & Nancy, a brother and sister duo who were raised on loving a big bowl of Spaghetti and meatballs, but couldn’t enjoy it without paying a price. For years, we struggled with stomach issues, doctors shaking their heads, “maybe you should avoid pasta.” Avoid pasta? Fuhgeddaboudit! We tried everything—diets, substitutes, gluten-free blends—that tasted like regret. Nothing hit the same. Nothing felt right… until an unexpected discovery in Italy changed everything.
Then life took us to a small town in the Puglia, down in southern Italy — the kind of place where nonnas still roll dough by hand and nobody’s in a rush. That’s where we found it: pasta made from heritage Italian wheat. Grown the old way. Milled slow. Dried even slower. No shortcuts. No nonsense.
We were introduced to pasta made with organic, heritage non-GMO Italian wheat—grown with the same seed nonno used to use, slowly milled, very slowly dried and easier to digest.
We took a bite… and waited. No stomach pain. No heaviness. Just pure joy. The kind that makes you close your eyes and say, “Now that’s pasta.”
That moment changed our lives.
We realized it wasn’t pasta that betrayed us — it was modern processing. Fast wheat. Fast drying. Fast profits. Somewhere along the way, they forgot about how it makes people feel. So we made it our mission: bring back pasta the right way. Gentler wheat. Cleaner ingredients. The way our grandparents would recognize.
Today, Franco’s Pasta is built on three promises:
🧡 What We Believe In
Pasta should be enjoyed — not endured
Slow Dried = easier digestion
One Simple organic ingredient, nothing to hide
Non-GMO = ancient grain, never messed with
Bronze cut = non of that Teflon trash
[add the logos beside each of these – organic, etc.]
Every shape we make honors the way pasta used to be made — with time, care, and wheat that respects the body, not just the clock.
We share our story because maybe you have felt the same way. Maybe you thought pasta was the problem.
But maybe… you just hadn’t tried the right one yet.
From our kitchen to yours — welcome to pasta you can feel good about. Mangia. 🍝
